Hot Wheels are an American toy designed in Southern California. Daniel Arsham is an American artist based in New York. His style tends to have a very eroded and monochrome look and feel. Hot Wheels and Daniel Arsham have teamed up for a collaboration that will drop on October 27th that includes, but not limited to, cars, display, decals(for your HW's cars) and patches for your whatever needs it, I will be doing a Hot Wheels "battle jacket" soon myself.
This will be a Mattel Creations drop and priced more than the average RLC sale, the general public and collectors alike will be able to make an attempt to get some rolling Hot Wheels art for their space of life.The cars are Premium, with Real Riders and a Silkstone finish. The first 2 cars will be the Eroded Porsche 930 with Rally Case, priced at $200USD and the Eroded Rodger Dodger for $70USD. The Rally Case has an eroded concrete look to it and on the reverse is space to store each car in the series.
All in all it is pretty nice, I cannot afford this so I doubt you will see me featuring an opening, however for all of the recent collaborations, this one I could display here. Link below to see all of the items launching October 27th at 9AM West Coast Hot Wheels time!
