Rules?

I have been working on the VW Caddy for the upcoming Mini Truck Madness Tournament in October and today was graphics day and then I realized the bed cover I want to use, has a wing built in and per the rules; 

• No pieced together trucks, beds can be filled but nothing extending above that. Wheel Wells can be ground larger.

Hoping to get clarification soon, so that one of the 2 covers available can be ordered in time for the race...
