Hot Wheels announced significant changes to their NFT offerings today and the creation of a Mattel wallet for your collections will soon be a reality. It seems that secondary market sales were the driving force behind this change and full control of market place activity is insured. Moving from the WAX platform to Flow seemed to bring a downer to some in the announcement chat on Discord, obviously many did not see this coming and had invested in WAX to purchase more in the future. Only secondary market sales used the WAX token.
Highlights of the news:
No more multi-Premium or NFTHunt's in any 1 pack and many people were not happy, not me as I have seen the scalper stacks and they are not really hurting. Rare cars are now Epic's, not a big deal, just something different with the level name. No Series 4 promo packs and the Mattel wallet has a tentative debut date of 12/15/22, dates can and sometimes do change...
