I scored a few cars last week at my Walgreens and other than the price per car, I was pretty stoked to score the Mighty Kei, Bugatti Bolide, Honda Civic Type R and Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC AMG, the Jaguar I wanted for use in the Redline Derby as I have been beat by them before, now I must join them! The Rimac Nevera and '62 Corvette are good additions to the collection as well.

How many Captcha loop snags do I need to score a car? After a solid 2 minutes of Captcha loop, I got with an 8 minute wait, which in normal circumstances total death... I was able to score, but the HW's Discord was going nuts too, so I was in the same boat. Not that I wanted to be, you know?

Custom Bone Shaker - Radical Radial

 I have a radial airplane engine scaled to fit a Hot Wheels car and the stock base needed to be longer and if all goes well, the Mod Rod base will work out well. Here it is trimmed up and fastened together with screws and with minor work, the skull will fit the front. Next the STL file goes to a friend for a test print in PLA and if that comes out nice, I will get it made in steel like the roof with the wing I did a few months ago. While I wait on the radial engine, the interior will get fit for duty

FedEx Delivery Update - My Luck Defined

My long awaited FedEx delivery arrived and the tape was not even attached to both sides of the box... I know they don't handle the packing, so I was lucky just to even get the box, never mind the contents! Both boxes of Real Riders were in there and with that I will do a proper editorial on those, with a car or two getting the treatment...

 

No Holds Barred - FedEx Straight Up Is One Jacked Up Operation...

 

Is this day 3 or 4 of "out for delivery"? Does it really matter once you go past day 2 of "attempts" to deliver with no positive outcome? FedEx has issues that are beyond all explanation and Mattel once said they were ditching FedEx, instead they doubled down with using them for shipping, eliminating USPS. The number of my Mattel buys that have gone awry has skyrocketed. It makes no sense, yet here I sit...

*So after looking at the travel history, this will be the 3rd time marked "on the truck for delivery", Tuesday was the original delivery date, yet this package like the last one, went to Los Angeles, 90 miles west of my location, then Wednesday it was in Bloomington, the hub that handles my deliveries. FedEx is straight F-ed up beyond all repair.

Without bad luck, I would be lucky most of the time...

 I have had these wheels for a minute or three, then the 9 pack this Porsche 356 Outlaw was sitting in came into view and after a rough drill session the wheels were on. Kind of... I still need to sand the front of the base where the wheels sit, on the outside to give them just a tad bit more clearance to spin freely. I do not know how I f-ed up the front post in the drilling out process, however what is done is done. The end...

3 cars I wanted from the P case and hella lucky to find them all in one shot, these days 98.9% of all my Mainlines are grabbed up from Walgreens or Albertsons... 2 of the 3 I collect already and the Jeep is just too cool to pass up. I need 1 more to customize with some Real Riders, finding another might take a minute however...
