 My Bone Shaker survived the race, I was eliminated by the #2 finishing car, driven by Triple_B in the first round. Triple_B won 2 races, I won 1 race. I am stoked that it stayed together and even won a race, My first rookie race is in the books!

The front post on the metal base version is not aligned with the plastic base version. The reat posts are the same, so I will try a magnet on the front, fingers crossed...

So my Mattel Creations Discord jail time was set to expire today and I see that Capt. Butthurt has given me 7 more days! I was going to post some mods and scores, not this week! The scalper crowd is a butch bunch, I cannot imagine what it is like in their natural environment. This is the same mod who was shipped cars he never paid for and then boasted on Discord about selling them! The guy is a clowny work of art...

Ralphs T-Hunt Score!

 This is one I hunted for, never could find and a week a go I scored, bent card and all. It was the only one there so I had no choice if I wanted to score it for retail pricing, it was on sale for $1USD too. So sweet!

Time To Build A New Car...

 The next race on my calendar is at Brick Mountain in Virginia for the Summer Rally Series 2023(Diecast Dude Racing), my entry for that race will be an all metal 2018 Lancer Evolution. The metal base and metal body have the same rear post, however the front posts are not in the same spot. There is also additional metal on the base, which either requires the base being trimmed or the body. I went with the body. I will tap the rear post and use a magnet on the front. Stripping the stock paint later and shooting a base coat if time and weather permits.

Scalper Mod Goes Full Tilt B*tch!

 A scalper mod on Mattel's Discord has put me on a time out for calling him a reseller! Punk azz bitch scalper, who sold Mattel products that were mis-shipped to him in the first place! Collecting has bottom feeders all around and some, have to protect their entity, just like the scalper who SWAT-ed me at the Ontario Legends Tour event. They will go punk azz b*tch, to protect themselves.

47.1 Grams Buttoned Up...

 Not the morning I was hoping for and learned a lot in the process, I removed a grip of material from the interior thinking that would solve issues and no it did not. I contemplated relieving the rivet hole area on the base and passed on it and in the end, that made the difference needed to finish this nighmare ride. Trying to get it mailed out today still... 

Thrash Session...

 So during the button up phase so that I could weigh the car for the entry form, I discovered interference issues that prevent the car from being screwed together... I looked at both interiors and the problem is not very obvious and it took a moment to work on the area that is the issue. As it sits, I cannot use the axle support I made and no further adjustments can be done at this point.

Starting Fresh Means You Will Be In A Rushed Hurry...

 The new body has been tapped and currently drying with a second coat of paint, numbers will be next and then a shot of clear. The driver and interior will be in later, axles in place and ready to button up. It must be shipped on Saturday in order to meet the deadline...

In Metal...

 Quick pic of the roof/wing combo printed in metal and I am so impressed with how it looks and fits. If I wasn't racing with it, I would not be gluing it down. It is just snug enough to fit and looks so nice in metal! It will add 11.3 grams in weight to the car and while that will be on the roof, it is spread out a little. Proper pics coming soon...

The "lady" on the phone straight up lied to me and to make matters worse and point to the obvious problem at the root of the situation, she could not pronounce Rialto and had to spell it for me. That explains a lot...

Bone Shaker Saturday

With a few Bone Shakers drilled I took the opportunity to mod one with beadlocks and a roof. The roof will need a bit of finishing and some flat black paint, then I will do the interior and headlights/skull. Wheels and spacers by MMR.

C Car Gets An Upgrade...

 

I like this and soon I will do a 100% original design with a new wing, without winglets and a smooth top roof. I am still pretty f-in happy though...

This little part has passed through production at Shapeways in a metal finish and should be here in about a week. A friend in New Mexico printed some test pieces and his help was 110% required to meet this deadline. I am freakin' stoked!
